Grateful for the orthodontist, dentist and staff that attended to me when I needed urgent assistance with my braces (my bottom wire shifted and had pierced my gum!). For context, I'm visiting here in Sydney and my orthodontic care is originally from overseas... so I didn't know where to go. How Do We Provide Pain Free Dentistry

All our Dentists at our Liverpool clinic have a very gentle approach towards every patient making sure your visit with us is as comfortable as possible. Furthermore in dental surgery we use techniques and equipment that minimizes pain. The most common method is through the use of numbing agents such as anaesthesia and topical anaesthetics. Anaesthesia can be applied in a number of ways, but the most common methods are through injection or gas. Gas anaesthesia is often used on children and infants because it allows the patient to breathe normally while they are sedated. Topical anaesthetics are applied directly to the gums prior to treatment in order to reduce the nerve sensation so that patients do not experience pain during a procedure. Pain free dentistry also includes techniques such as laser drilling and vibration dampening drills that minimise pain during procedures like cavity fillings.
